This vintage French advertising poster announces Henri Farman's historic flight on 30 October 1908, when he piloted a Voisin biplane from the Camp de Châlons at 100 metres altitude, crossing forests, roads, railways, rivers, and villages before landing at Reims — a cathedral city in the Champagne region of northeastern France — and winning the Prix de la Hauteur the following day. The lower portion features a detailed colour illustration of the Voisin biplane in flight over a green landscape, with the twin towers of Reims Cathedral faintly visible on the horizon, anchoring the advertisement's narrative.
