Description
Two entwined figures — a man and woman locked in a tender embrace and kiss — are draped in richly decorated golden robes adorned with geometric patterns and colorful flowers, set against a luminous gold-leaf background. The couple kneels at the edge of a flower-strewn meadow, embodying love, intimacy, and transcendence in Klimt's signature decorative style. 'The Kiss' is one of the most celebrated works of the Vienna Secession movement, painted by Austrian symbolist Gustav Klimt between 1907 and 1908 and now housed in the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere in Vienna, Austria.
