Description

This striking reimagined woodblock print depicts the famous cherry-blossom hill of Gotenyama at Shinagawa, a celebrated viewing spot along the Tōkaidō road south of Edo (modern Tokyo), where crowds of figures gather beneath blossoming trees with Mount Fuji visible across the bay.
