Description
A sweeping Japanese woodblock print depicting a dramatic coastal landscape viewed from an elevated vantage point, dominated by a towering wind-swept pine tree in the foreground and a tranquil bay dotted with sailing vessels glowing in the warm amber and rose hues of dusk. Figures and a horse animate the lower-left terrace, while sandy shores and distant headlands recede into the horizon. This print is believed to be from Hiroshige's celebrated 'One Hundred Famous Views of Edo' series (1856–1858), depicting a scenic coastal overlook near Edo (present-day Tokyo), Japan — one of the most influential ukiyo-e series in Japanese printmaking history.
