Description

This Japanese woodblock print depicts a serene garden landscape with blossoming cherry trees in soft pink, a cascading white waterfall, lush green foliage, and two small figures pausing to take in the view beside a tranquil pond. The scene evokes the peaceful atmosphere of a traditional Japanese garden in spring. The composition is characteristic of Utagawa Hiroshige's celebrated 'One Hundred Famous Views of Edo' series, which documented iconic sites around Edo (present-day Tokyo) during the late Edo period.
