Description

This celestial engraving depicts the constellation Corona Borealis — the Northern Crown — as a delicate wreath of flowers and foliage encircling a ring of stars at the composition's center, surrounded by additional scattered stars of varying magnitudes rendered as sunburst symbols against a lightly gridded sky. Diagonal lines representing the ecliptic and celestial coordinates cross the field, lending the image its characteristic cartographic precision.
