Description

Two Nashville Warblers perch delicately among leafy branches laden with clusters of small red berries, rendered with the meticulous botanical and ornithological detail that defines Audubon's celebrated work. The lower bird displays its distinctive yellow underparts and olive-green back, while the upper bird nestles quietly among the foliage against a soft cream background. This plate, Plate LXXXIX, originally appeared in Audubon's landmark publication 'The Birds of America' (1827–1838), a monumental work documenting North American bird species that remains one of the most celebrated natural history achievements in American art and science.
