Description

This exquisite plate from John James Audubon's landmark ornithological work 'The Birds of America' depicts two Ruby-crowned Wrens (now known as the Ruby-crowned Kinglet) perched on a flowering shrub branch with delicate pink blossoms and soft green leaves.
