This beautifully hand-colored celestial chart from Fortin's Atlas Céleste de Flamsteed (1776) depicts the constellations Le Lynx (Lynx) and Le Petit Lion (Leo Minor), rendered as vividly illustrated animals leaping across a pale blue star field gridded with coordinate lines.
